Memorable Quotes

When I was younger, like most people, I had this earnestness about me and part of this earnestness was copiously jotting in a notebook, things I liked in books. The few quotes in this post are from Clive Anderson's, BBC Travel Series-Our Man in Heaven and Hell:Cuba. They are fun lines and singly do not even feel copious as I mentioned but thats a whole different story and keep watching this space for more of the promised copiousness!

Cuba was producing the most literate head waiters in the world and the brainiest whores.

St. Columbus is the patron saint of baggage handlers!
