Calvin and Hobbes: A Concise history

This is the first Calvin and Hobbes strip (1985) that appeared as the write up below the strip indicates. (Click on the pictures to see them bigger and the words will be more legible.)



This is the last strip published in a newspaper as a particular web site informs me and I have not been able to confirm it. But the last strip appeared sometime in 1995 when Watterson 'retired'.

am a rather late convert to C&H..and boy they're gud..
just a suggestion..am sure u changed ur template after much thought and discussion (including with me)..but don't u think ur last template looked a bit cleaner, and professional

Awwwwwww!!!An entire post complete with links and information.

I have only read stripes that appeared in newspapers. Even today, when I browse through the newspaper to scan clips for a client, I steal some time to read C&B. Hehe!

Calvin is a real smart kid... they dont make characters like them anymore...

i so love calvin and hobbes that i have a few of bill watterson's books! i love lucy and her afternoon tea parties! hehehe
